Liepos 6 d. lygiai 9 v.v. vietos laiku lietuviai visame pasaulyje gieda “Tautišką giesmę” – Tautos himną. Vieningas Lietuvos himno giedojimas jau tapo ne tik brandžios pilietinės savimonės išraiška, bet ir unikalia tradicija, kuri, tikimasi, taps svarbiu Lietuvos valstybingumo atkūrimo šimtmečio šventės akcentu 2018-aisiais metais. Siekiant pasirengti Lietuvos valstybingumo atkūrimo 100-ųjų metinių šventei, pilietinės akcijos “Tautiška giesmė aplink pasaulį” organizatoriai, bendradarbiaudami su Užsienio reikalų ministerija, šiemet pradeda kurti dokumentinį filmą apie šį analogų pasaulyje neturintį reiškinį.

Sing the National Anthem Together with Lithuanians Throughout the World on July 6th
On July 6th, at 9 pm local time, Lithuanians around the world will sing the Lithuanian National Anthem.
United Lithuanian anthem singing has become not only a 5-year old tradition, and an expression of civic consciousness, but also a unique tradition which is expected to become a major highlight of the Lithuanian 100 year Restoration of Statehood Celebration in 2018.
Capture your community’s moment of unity and patriotism and share it with the rest of global Lithuanians by participating in this unique event.
Recommendations for the Filming and Photography of the „National Anthem” Civil Campaign
When
The National Anthem will be sung on Monday, July 6th, 2015 at 9pm, local time.
Where
We recommend that you gather to sing the national anthem in a symbolic or significant area in your city. We ask that you please sing outside.
Video
1) Please submit the hymn sung and recorded in its entirety
2) Before you start to sing the national anthem together, count down from 10 to 1 and then start to sing
3) Include shots of the Lithuanian flag and/or other props
4) Include footage of participants preparing to sing the hymn, as well as reactions afterwards (ie: clapping, chanting, etc)
5) Optional: You may choose to add a short interview (why you will sing the anthem? Why do you think that it is important to sing together?), footage of the group rehearsing, etc.

Send a maximum of 10 original high resolution photos of the event
Material Submissions
Upload your video immediately – preferably before July 7th, 11am, Lithuania local time. The next evening, national TV and news stations will begin coverage of the global event.
